Truckers Advantage® cards are accepted at over 7,200 Fleet One fueling sites nationwide and at over 1,500 rebate and $0 transaction fee locations.

  1. How does the fuel card work? You can use The Truckers Advantage fuel card just like a credit card. The difference is that purchases made with your Truckers Advantage card are “deducted” directly from your account.
  2. Does the Truckers Advantage card have weekly terms? Yes. With credit approval, weekly terms are available, and you have the option to choose which day of the week the debit takes place.
  3. Can I prepay my account and get on the Truckers Advantage Program? Yes, but only for fuel - not for the tire program. If you prepay for fuel, you can still call the Bridgestone/Firestone Fleet Support Center at 866.464.2914 to buy tires with a current Visa or MasterCard.
  4. Do I need a Truckers Advantage fuel card to gain access to the Bridgestone/Firestone National Preferred program? Yes.
  5. How long will it take to get my cards? Once all the paperwork is received, the process begins, and you should receive your cards within 7 to 10 days. Most of this time is in the mailing process.
  6. How do you pay the rebates? They are paid out monthly. Note: The minimum amount for a rebate check is $10. So, if your rebate balance is $8 one month, your balance will carry over to the next month, until it reaches $10. Then your check automatically deposited into your bank account, via ACH, each month.
  7. What are the advantages of having a Truckers Advantage card? As an OOIDA member, you can now enjoy some of the advantages and privileges of the large fleets. This program is evolving, and with leadership from OOIDA and Fleet One, we can continue to bring valuable products and services to the program. Of course, we need you to signup for the card - and start using it - so that we can show current and future service providers that this program has a strong, active membership base.
  8. Where are Truckers Advantage cards accepted? They are accepted at over 6,500 fueling sites nationwide, including quality independent sites, Petro, Love's, TA, Pilot, Roady's, AMBEST, PTP, NATSN, Sapp Bros., and WilcoHess.
  9. Will I be a charged a transaction fee when I use the Truckers Advantage card to buy fuel? There are no transaction fees if you fuel within the Truckers Advantage Network of over 1,300 locations. There is a $1.00 transaction fee on fuel for locations outside the network.
  10. Can I use the Truckers Advantage card to purchase the other products associated with the card? Yes. Services like ProMiles® and temporary permits can be charged to your card on a monthly basis.
  11. What are my ProMiles® options? Truckers Advantage members have access to ProMiles packages, which include an Internet-based program for fuel optimization, fuel tax reporting, trip routing, and driver log auditing. These programs can be purchased together, or separately.
  12. What type of permits do you offer? Truckers Advantage members have online access to help obtain Fuel, Trip and Oversize, Overweight permits. 
  13. How long do I have to be a member to get a card? The day you have your OOIDA membership number, you can apply for the Truckers Advantage fueling program.
  14. How many trucks do I have to have? If you are an OOIDA member, all of your trucks are covered. So, whether you have 1 or 100, they are all covered by your membership.

  16. Is there a sign up fee? Yes and No! If you sign up at one of the 3 shows listed above, there is no sign up fee. If not, there is a $25.00 sign up fee. This cost covers the credit report and other admin fees.
  17. Are there plans to expand the Truckers Advantage products and services? Yes. Fleet One and OOIDA will actively search for products and services that meet the needs of independent owner/operators. Members can also make suggestions. With any new product, the goal is to make sure that it’s an affordable option for Truckers Advantage members.
